In a world with so much negativity and comparisons, I have made it my choice to not shop or support smear campaigns. I try to avoid companies like Walmart who do not support their employees, I choose to shop more Canadian brands if I can and I also choose to support those brands that support a healthy well being, both mentally and physically. This is why I have chosen to spend a little bit more (and when you actually compare it per ml and with the extras it is not that much more) and keep with Young Living. What Revive is doing is no better than one of these ugly political campaigns. They are raising themselves by putting down the competition. We do not support it when it comes to our country or other companies, so why are we supporting Revive?
They say they do not support the MLM structure, but they are not that far off as they have ‘affiliates’ that make money by posting negative stories, negative posts, putting others down. I can not support this. They are making money by having beautiful people spread negativity. All of those facebook adds and blogs you see of people switching are all just click bait for that person to make money, their affiliates. There is no more truth to their story than any other story on the internet, they are all just trying to make money. We are spending so much time trying to support each other, build each other up, help our kids be kind and supportive but jump at these opportunities. This company is doing exactly what we are trying to avoid, people are buying it, eating it up in fact, this to me is sad.
I have done a lot of math to see the difference in price, yes Revive is cheaper, but are they actually better? Who knows, there is no actual information to say that yes they farm in the right conditions and only have farm land that is pesticide free. They are so new, is their soil pesticide free? I can not personally find any of that information on the web. I do, however know that this is true for Young Living, our local Calgarians have been to the farms and distilleries around the world, that I can attest to. But I am by no means saying they are not. I do not spread negativity or hate mail.
I did the math, for the Young Living starter kit this month it is very similar in cost as the Revive kit.
Revive Kit you get 10-10ml bottles and a diffuser – $125.
Young Living you get 10-5 ml bottles but two of ours are the more expensive blends for both companies *( They do not put them in the kit, they use less expensive oils in the starter kit – Pan-Aaway and Digize) This month includes a free bottle of Theives household cleaner, $37.50 plus additional free oils (~$45), a few Ningxia samples and a hand sanitizer for $199
So for a very similar cost you are supporting a local mom or someone else who has started a business. Spreading Love as the YL community supports each other and will always help you with how to use oils and your general healthy and wellbeing while not slandering others in the oil business.
Spread LOVE not HATE. Support your local neighbours, you do know that when you buy from a MLM you are not paying for overpriced goods, you are buying better products that support your local community. Behind every amazing MLM product is a mom, women, man, human that is trying to make a life for themselves. These are usually people who have been laid off, want to stay home, looking for a way out of the house to have adult conversation. They are not out their to take advantage of you or rip you off. However, if you still wish to support those that pay their employees poorly, spend thousands on marketing (often to celebrities) and make one person really rich – you do you and do and what makes you feel good. I support you know matter what.
This is a great article, and shows how much research you’ve put in, and how much integrity you have:) thank you for sharing!
